You guys are probably wondering, why is Phoenix in a silk hat and a cloak? I actually got this idea from the game, specifically from the second one.
(Could be spoilers for people who haven't played this case yet) It's about a magician accused of murdering the ringmaster and it is confusing why the ringmaster would wear the magician's clothing on the crime scene. The prosecutor (Franziska von Karma) finds this to be a bit of an impossible thing, but Phoenix replies with a clever (and hilarious) line that made a light bulb in my head:
"Anyone can wear a silk hat and a cloak. They even look good on me!"
So, I was like, "Alright then, Phoenix. Why not try and draw you to see proof!" And boy, was he right. He does look fine with those fabulous symbols.
I'll make a shipping artwork of Phoenix and Maya next! I-It's really cute since Phoenix always look concerned for Maya (I mean, in the last case, he'll probably do anything to avoid De Killer from killing Maya!) and I'll try out new coloring styles.
